In early 2023, I've set a challenge for myself:

Launch 12 side projects in 12 months.

Inspired by many others who went through a similar challenge, I originally made this site as a way to keep myself accountable and for others to follow along my journey.

Then, I thought about how others could benefit too by gaining inspiration and joining the same challenge as me.

And so, #12ProjectChallenge was born.

Is there a fee to join?

Nope, it costs nothing! This challenge is 100% free-to-join and participate in.

Nope. We’re not affiliated with any of the Black Friday 2022 deals posted on this website. Unlike other SaaS Black Friday websites, we’re the only site here NOT using any affiliate links. 

Who should join this challenge?

Anybody can join! You don’t need to be a tech prodigy or coding wizard. Whether you’re 19 or 67, anybody can join in. You don’t need permission from anyone – not even from me! This challenge is welcome to everybody at any level.

What kind of projects can I make?

Build anything you want. There’s no limits or restrictions. It doesn’t have to be a full-blown startup. Your side project can be defined on your own terms. Examples: A painting. A website. An article. A sock puppet.

Do I need to make a new project each month?

No. Move at your own pace. You could do 1 project each month. Or 3 projects in a month. It’s up to you. The only criteria is that you ship 12 projects in a 12-month timeframe.

What if I “fail" the challenge?
No problem. As long as you learned something in the process of trying to build 12 projects, I’d count that as a win. 👍
It’s really up to you. This challenge is meant for launching “side” projects, which are something you do outside of your full-time job (or hustle).
